CARGONOW TEAMS WITH HUNGARYÆS CEWEB
CargoNow.com, a Sweden-based developer of online logistics software, has signed an exclusive partnership agreement with the CeWeb Consortium to market its services in Hungary.
Three Hungarian companies — M'szertechnika Inc., Videoton Corp. and Gamax Ltd — formed CeWeb last year to represent and market Internet companies in various industries in the Eastern European market. The three CeWeb founders have combined annual revenue of about $300 million and employ 18,000 people.
Peter Trenka has been appointed by CargoNow as regional manager of the company's Hungarian operation, based in Budapest.
“CeWeb is a humongous player in Hungary as well as the rest of Eastern Europe,” said Christer Johansson, area development manager for CargoNow. “Their IT and high-tech industry experience is impressive. They are ranked among the high-tech industry leaders in this part of Europe and have excellent, extensive resources.”
