Cargoreservations.com has shifted from a downloadable application to a fully integrated online operation with options for all modes of transport. The enhancements to its Web site are designed to improve efficiency and provide a more cost-effective means of moving cargo.
“More than anything else, these enhancements are a response to the changing needs of our customers. They require more transportation and pricing options to compete in a tough economic landscape,” said Ian Craig, Cargoreservations.com chief operations officer.
A wholly owned subsidiary of Orlando-based Zulunet Inc., Cargoreservations.com offers real-time cargo tracking, the ability to procure ad-hoc emergency and scheduled track charters, simultaneous online negotiation of multiple legally binding contracts, and partial load capacity options.
