CARLISLE LEASING PICKS LAWSON FINANCIAL SOLUTION

   Carlisle Leasing International LLC, a provider of refrigerated containers, has contracted with Lawson Software for Lawson to provide scalable solutions to expand Carlisle’s existing logistics system.

   Carlisle will use Lawson’s Procurement suite of applications to integrate and expedite purchasing and financial analysis capabilities, as well as Lawson’s Financials and Human Resources software.

   Lawson is based in St. Paul, Minn. Carlisle Leasing, based in Park Ridge, N.J. plans to increase its fleet of refrigerated containers from 6,000 in 1997 to 43,000 by the end of 2002. Carlisle is a subsidiary of Marubeni American Corp. in New York.
