CAROTRANS INTERNATIONAL, BOX CONSOLIDATORS TO PARTNER IN U.S./U.K. TRADE
CaroTrans International Inc., the Union, N.J.-based neutral non-vessel-operating common carrier, has entered into a partnership with Box Consolidators Ltd. to expand services between the United States and the United Kingdom.
Box, founded in 1978, serves 14 direct destinations in North America with weekly consolidation containers, as well as offering export and import full-containerload services in the U.S./U.K. trade. The company has three offices and five receiving depots in the United Kingdom.
CaroTrans operates sales offices in 11 U.S. cities and 27 receiving stations, providing service to more than 140 countries with 230 ports of discharge.
Michael Madden, director of Box Consolidators, said the partnership should lead to Box expanding operations 'across the Pacific, to Europe and the new markets, such as South America.”
