CAST APPOINTS AGENT IN DENMARK
Transatlantic shipping line Cast has named Maritime Transport & Agencies ApS as its agent in Denmark.
MTA already represents Cast in Russia, Poland, Latvia and Estonia and, through a sister agency, in Sweden.
Cast, which operates between North America and North Europe and the Mediterranean, has seen volumes have been steadily growing in Denmark, said Peter Seminick, chief executive officer of Cast.
'We are seeing volumes increasing both eastbound and westbound,' Seminick said. 'Scandinavia and the Baltic countries are areas we wish to further develop, so we have chosen to work in partnership with MTA throughout the region.'
Claus Larsen and Klaus Jakobsen from Cast's former agency, Nautilus Ltd., have joined MTA.
