CCEWEB, ADOBE LAUNCH TRADE DOCUMENTATION PILOT

   Adobe, the Web software firm and maker of PDF document technology, said it is teaming up with CCEWeb, a Canadian electronic commerce company, to launch a digital international trade documentation system pilot.

   Using the @GlobalTrade Secure Payment and Trade System, CCEWeb wants to make it possible for all parties taking part in trade transactions to exchange secure documents with each other in Adobe PDF file format

   The United Nations estimates that $640 billion is spent annually on processing trade paperwork.

   Adobe, based in San Jose, is the second-largest PC software company in the United States. CCEWeb Corp. is a service provider to financial institutions involved in international merchandise trade.
