CCNI, CSAV TO SLOT ON MED/U.S. GULF SERVICE
Compania Chilena de Navegacion Interoceanica and Compania Sud Americana de Vapores, two Chilean shipping lines, are planning to take space on the U.S. Gulf/Miami/San Juan/Mediterranean liner service of Lykes Lines.
Under a space charter agreement filed with the U.S. Federal Maritime Commission, Lykes will be authorized to charter space to the two Chilean carriers in the trade connecting U.S. Gulf ports, Miami and San Juan, on the one hand, and ports in Spain, Italy, and Mexico, on the other hand.
