CCNI ends Caribbean service, joins Frontier
Compania Chilena de Navegacion Interoceanica has ended its weekly U.S./Caribbean/North Coast South America “Central America-Caribbean” service and instead started taking space from Frontier Liner Services between the U.S. and the Dominican Republic.
The “Central America-Caribbean” service had used two ships of 510 TEUs and called Port Everglades, Rio Haina, San Juan, Cartagena, Puerto Barrios and back to Port Everglades.
CCNI started the “Central America-Caribbean” service in February with Lykes Lines and TMM Lines taking slots in May.
CCNI will now take space on Frontier’s “South Atlantic/South Florida Ports” service between Port Everglades and Rio Haina only.
