CENSUS TO HOLD AES, AESDIRECT MEETINGS IN NEW YORK
The U.S. Census Bureau’s Foreign Trade Division will hold meetings in New York next month to promote the use of the government’s Automated Export System and the agency’s free Internet link AESDirect by exporters and freight forwarders.
The AES User Meeting will be held at the Holiday Inn — JFK Airport on May 8 from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. A public meeting about AES developments will also be held at the same location on May 9 from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
At Kingsborough Community College on May 10, Census will hold morning and afternoon sessions for exporters and forwarders who want to become certified to use AESDirect. Companies must pre-register to receive an AESDirect username and password by logging onto http://www.aesdirect.gov and clicking on “registration form” three days prior to the meeting.
