CenterPoint Properties has purchased a seven-acre logistics facility and container yard in Commerce, Calif., from an undisclosed seller.
The purchase price was not released.
The property is two miles from intermodal rail yards operated by BNSF and Union Pacific, and it is in close proximity to the Los Angeles and Long Beach ports.
“We are delighted with the acquisition of this highly functional, transload facility, further proving our commitment to serving our mission of investment in port, rail and intermodal-related facilities,” CenterPoint’s James Linn said in a statement.
