CF AIRFREIGHT OPENS 16 SERVICE STATIONS
CF AirFreight, the Minnesota-based air and ocean freight forwarding subsidiary of Consolidated Freightways Corp., has opened 16 U.S. service stations this month.
The openings bring to 30 the number of “freight forwarding stations” operated by the company, which specializes in expedited air freight services.
“Our infrastructure growth is well ahead of schedule,” said Richard McCrady Sr., president of CF AirFreight. “Likewise, our sales have doubled since last summer.”
The new service centers have opened in Baltimore; Boston; Charlotte and Raleigh-Durham, N.C.; Hartford, Conn.; Indianapolis; Las Vegas; McAllen, Texas; Memphis and Nashville, Tenn.; Orlando and Tampa, Fla.; Philadelphia; Portland, Ore.; Seattle; and Salt Lake City. CF AirFreight also has a station in London, will open an Amsterdam station in the spring and is singing on an agent partner in China.
