ChemLogix, Industrial Evolution cooperate on inventory management system
ChemLogix LLC, a Blue Bell, Pa.-based provider of logistics services to chemical companies, announced a partnership with Industrial Evolution to provide vendor management inventory services to customers.
Under terms of the partnership, Industrial Evolution will collect and host all customer data for ChemLogix and provide a Web-based system based on software from OSIsoft. OSIsoft is an equity partner of Industrial Evolution.
ChemLogix said that it has enhanced its “WEB*VMIT” platform, for purchasing organizations and suppliers of raw materials, through this partnership.
Using the system, customers will be able to expand their remote inventory data collection to include data from process operations and product performance. They will also be able to integrate their inventory management functions with enterprise systems, such as SAP R/3T and JD Edwards OneWorldT, ChemLogix said.
