China Post cuts domestic express rate 10%
China Post, a provider of express mail delivery services, said it has reduced charges for delivering domestic mail by 10 percent.
Despite bureaucratic hurdles, DHL and FedEx are expanding in China’s parcel market. China Post has a 70-percent share of domestic express mail.
In a related development, China Post has submitted a plan to the nation’s State Council to restructure branches in Beijing, Zhejiang, Fujian, Shanghai, Guangdong and Jiangsu.
