China Shipping adds calls at Halifax, Miami
China Shipping Container Lines is adding calls at Halifax, Nova Scotia, and Miami to its recently started weekly all-water AMAX service calling Asia, Canada and the U.S. East Coast via the Suez Canal and the Mediterranean.
The 4,051-TEU vessel “Xin Nantong” will make the first call at Halifax Sept. 12. The first call at Miami will be made by the vessel “CSCL Melbourne” Oct. 6.
The AMAX service uses nine ships of about 4,150 TEUs and will have a revised port rotation of: Ningbo; Shanghai; Chiwan; Hong Kong; Yantian; Port Kelang; Port Said, Egypt; Haifa, Israel; Naples; Genoa; Barcelona; Valencia; Halifax; New York; Norfolk, Va.; Savannah, Ga.; Miami; and back to Ningbo.
