China Southern orders A330 aircraft
China Southern Airlines Tuesday ordered 10 A330 aircraft from Airbus. Financial details were not disclosed.
The aircraft will be delivered by Airbus during 2007 and 2008.
China Southern was the first mainland China airline to purchase A330 aircraft and currently operates four of the planes on domestic trunk and international routes. It’s fleet includes 61 Airbus aircraft.
Earlier this month, China Southern placed a firm order for 10 next-generation Boeing 787 jetliners.
