China Southern to expand fleet
China Southern Airlines has notified Airbus that it intends to buy 15 A320-200 and six A319-100 aircraft. The news was expected since January when the company said the fleet decision was before the board. The planes are scheduled for delivery in 2005 and 2006.
Each A320-200 plane will cost between $57.6 million and $61.6 million, while the A319s will cost between $50.6 million and $61.2 million, according to China Southern.
