CLEARCROSS CLOSES 2 OFFICES, CUTS PERSONNEL
ClearCross, a provider of global supply chain services, said Friday it will close its offices in New York and in the United Kingdom.
A spokesman told AS+ that 30 to 40 employees will be let go, about 25 percent of ClearCross’s workforce.
“Since the merger of ClearCross with Atrion, the company has evaluated all functional areas,” said Bruce Johnson, president and chief executive officer of ClearCross.
“Good business decisions are often difficult ones,” Johnson said. “It’s time to streamline our efforts and consolidate the foundations of our business.”
All of ClearCross’s product management and development will originate from the company’s headquarters in Reston, Va., and from another office in Montreal.
