CLICKLOGISTICS HIRES ABERNATHY AND DIETER
Clicklogistics, a provider of logistics technology and management services, has completed its spin-off from Cardinal Logistics Management, Inc., and will move its corporate headquarters to Boston, from Concord, N.C.
However, Clicklogistics remains an affiliate of Cardinal, which will retain an ownership interest.
Clicklogistics said Tuesday it has named George Abernathy as senior vice president for sales, and Michael Dieter as chief technology officer.
Abernathy was vice president, sales, for Logistics.com. Dieter has served as senior vice president of the investment systems division at Putnam Investments in Boston.
Clicklogistics also said that it had completed its second round of financing, with the principal investor being GTCR Golder Rauner Fund VII.
“The logistics industry has many vendors that offer either technology or logistics management services. We offer both transportation management and logistics services,” said Tom Sanderson, chief executive officer of Clicklogistics.
“Our move to Boston will serve as a springboard for a transportation management system with no up-front licensing or lengthy installation process,” Sanderson said.
