CMA CGM group adds ANL to U.S./Med service
Australia National Line, a subsidiary of CMA CGM, has joined its parent company in a U.S. East Coast/Mediterranean container service.
The move represents the entry of ANL in the transatlantic trade.
The “Amerigo Express” weekly service, launched this month by CMA CGM in partnership with China Shipping Container Line, calls weekly at the ports of Malta, Leghorn, Fos, Valencia, Lisbon, New York, Norfolk, Savannah, Port Everglades, Lisbon and Malta.
The service commenced on Monday (Oct. 13) with the first sailing of the vessel “CMA CGM Hudson” from Leghorn.
ANL has also recently joined two transpacific services operated by CMA CGM.
