CMA CGM sets up agency joint venture in South Africa
CMA CGM and South African transport group Grindrod Ltd. have formed a shipping agency joint venture in South Africa, with offices in Johannesburg and Durban.
CMA CGM transferred the representation of its liner services to the new company, CMA CGM Shipping Agencies SA, on July 1. The former agent of the carrier in South Africa was ISS Voigt, a subsidiary of Grindrod.
