CMA CGM to close Sudcargos
CMA CGM will as of Wednesday close its newly acquired specialist Mediterranean/North Africa carrier Sudcargos as a company, instead making it a product and service of the group to be known as Sudcargos Services.
The French carrier in September completed the purchase of fellow Marseilles-based Sudcargos when it bought the remaining 50 percent from French state-owned ferry operator SNCM. Earlier that same month, CMA CGM acquired a 50 percent stake in the company when it bought the shipping activities of the Bollore group.
