CMA CGM WILL BUY SLOTS ON TWO MSC TRANSATLANTIC SERVICES

   CMA CGM said Thursday it will begin taking slots in November on two transatlantic services run by Mediterranean Shipping Co. between northern Europe, the U.S. East Coast and the Mexican Gulf.

   This agreement, “subject to U.S. Federal Maritime Commission approval, could start a much deeper cooperation between the two shipping companies,” CMA CGM said in a statement.

   In one service, rotations will be Antwerp, Bremerhaven, Antwerp, Le Havre, Boston, New York, Baltimore, Norfolk, New York, Boston and Antwerp.

   In the other service, rotations will be Antwerp, Bremerhaven, Hamburg, Felixstowe, Le Havre, Charleston and Antwerp.
