CN, BNSF SIGN INTERLINE AGREEMENT
'Canadian National railway and Burlington Northern Santa Fe have entered into a marketing agreement to establish an interline service linking markets in Western Canada with markets in the Western United States.
The agreement gives both railroads authority to market and price carload traffic originating on one carrier and terminating on the other without first having to negotiate terms and conditions of the movement.
New carload interline services in other corridors are being considered by the two railroads, CN said.
