Coca-Cola picks Exel for promotional project in Mexico
The Coca-Cola Co. has contracted with Exel, a U.K.-based provider of logistics services, to manage a holiday promotion in Mexico involving three million items.
Exel will receive shipments of Coca-Cola promotional items and coordinate freight management and distribution to the company’s bottlers, by rail and truck, from Exel sites in Guadalajara, Mexicali, Mexico City and Monterrey.
Earlier this year, Exel started managing warehousing and distribution for Coca-Cola products at a facility in Cedros.
