COCA-COLA PICKS EXEL TO MANAGE SUPPLY CHAIN IN MEXICO
The Coca-Cola Co. has contracted with Exel, a U.K.-based provider of logistics services to manage warehousing and distribution for Coca-Cola’s supply chain network in Mexico.
Exel will receive incoming product from manufacturers at its Cedros logistics facility, north of Mexico City. From that center, Exel will unload product, manage inventory, and distribute shipments to 79 Coca-Cola bottlers throughout Mexico.
