COLUMBUS ENTERS ASIA/AUSTRALIA/NEW ZEALAND TRADE
Columbus Line will enter the Asia/Australia/New Zealand trade on July 1, when it starts a two-loop weekly service in cooperation with Hyundai Merchant Marine and FESCO.
Columbus will contribute one vessel to a joint weekly Australian service calling at Melbourne, Sydney, Manila, Kaohsiung, Keelung, Yantian, Hong Kong and Melbourne.
It will also take space on a weekly New Zealand service calling at Brisbane, Manila, Hong Kong, Brisbane, Tauranga, Lyttelton and Brisbane.
Hamburg Sud, the parent company of Columbus, will then be active in three Asian trade: Asia/West Coast of North, Central and South America; Asia/East Coast of South America; and Asia/Australia/New Zealand.
