CON-WAY APPPOINTS FYFE DIRECTOR OF SAFETY

   Con-Way Central Express has named William A. Fyfe director of safety.

   Fyfe was safety supervisor for Con-Way Western Express in San Bernardino, Calif. In his new position, he will direct the development and management of CCX’s safety policies and programs, as well as compliance of safety and government regulations.

   A member of the American Trucking Associations executive board, Fyfe joined CWX in 1984 as a driver sales representative in Orange, Calif.
