CON-WAY CENTRAL EXPRESS ADDS SERVICE CENTER CAPACITY
Con-Way Transportation Services said its Central Express subsidiary opened an expanded service center Feb. 3 in Walton, Ky., that will provide faster service for shippers in northern Kentucky, southwest Ohio and southeast Indiana.
The 64-door facility delivers next-day service to all points in Kentucky, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois and Tennessee as well as to parts of 13 other Midwestern and Southern states. The entire eastern United States receives shipments from this facility in two days and the West Coast in three days.
The new cross-dock replaces a 24-door facility nearby.
