CONFREIGHT EXPANDS IN BRAZILIAN MARKET

Confreight Group, a neutral non-vessel-operating common carrier based in Antwerp, Belgium, has expanded its less-than-containerload services in the Brazilian market.

The NVO’s new Brazilian destinations are Porto Alegre and Novo Hamburgo. A fortnightly direct service is offered through Alianca with transit times of 25 to 38 days, the company said.

Confreight already operates direct services to the Brazilian ports of Suape, Recipe, Santos, Manaus, Rio Grande do Sul, Itajai, Vitoria, Rio de Janeiro, Paranagua, Salvador and Fortaleza and also provides consolidation services from these ports to Europe on a weekly basis.
