CONTERM ADDS DIRECT SERVICE TO ISRAEL
USA Conterm Consolidation Services will offer two additional consolidation services from the U.S. South Atlantic with the launch of weekly direct service from Atlanta to the Israeli ports of Haifa and Ashdod.
The new services feature early in the week arrivals, with cargo available mid-week in Haifa and Ashdod. From Atlanta, the transit time is 22 days to Haifa and 23 days to Ashdod. The service is direct from Charleston, bypassing transshipment and feeder connections in the Mediterranean.
Upon arrival in Israel, Conterm's agent, Transcal Trade, provides unpacking, on-forwarding, and warehousing services for Conterm.
