Cooper named ABP’s new CEO

   Associated British Ports (ABP) has named James Cooper its new chief executive officer, following the retirement of Peter Jones at the end of March 2013.
   Prior to this appointment, Cooper served as a non-executive director at ABP. He is currently a director of Infracapital, the European infrastructure fund of M & G Investments, one of the four investors in the Admiral Consortium that acquired ABP in 2006. 
   Cooper will join ABP on March 1 and will assume responsibility as CEO on April 1.
