Corps concludes environmental study for Long Beach’s Pier J
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers said it has completed a final environmental analysis for the Port of Long Beach’s Pier J marine terminal expansion project.
The project involves 115 acres of landfill, up to 10 million cubic yards of dredge material, construction of a new concrete wharf, new terminal buildings and a new rail yard.
