COSCO, Hainan province sign strategic cooperation agreement
State-owned China Ocean Shipping Co. said it has signed a cooperation agreement with the Hainan provincial government in Haikou, the capital city of the island province.
According to the terms of the agreement, the two sides will establish a comprehensive strategic cooperation partnership in the fields of ports and terminals, logistics, shipping and ship repairs, based upon the national and provincial development plan and industrial policy, and the development strategy of the COSCO group, COSCO said in a statement.
