Costa Container Lines adds Mexico ports to Med/Canada/Cuba loop
Genoa, Italy-based Costa Container Lines has added the Mexican East Coast ports of Veracruz and Altamira to its Canada, Cuba Mexico Service (CCM).
The vessel “Cala Pantanal” made the first call at Vera Cruz on Tuesday and is scheduled to call Altamira today.
The CCM service uses four ships averaging 1,550 TEUs with a sailing frequency of about every 11 days. The new port rotation is: Barcelona; Leghorn; Vado Ligure; Valencia; Lisbon; Halifax, Nova Scotia; Veracruz; Altamira; Havana; Santo Tomas de Castilla; Rio Haina; and back to Barcelona.
