Cowen leaves OSG after more than 20 years
New York-based Overseas Shipholding Group Inc. said Monday that Robert Cowen, its chief operating officer, has left the company.
Cowen joined OSG in 1979, since when he served as an in-house counsel, senior officer and corporate director for the tanker, product carrier, and LNG vessel owner-operator.
Cowen has joined Washington-based law firm Venable LLP, where he will cover corporate, regulatory work and government relations “with a likely focus on maritime-related clients,” Venable said.
