CP Ships links with Yantai Marine to raise Asia/Australia frequency
CP Ships will double the frequency of its Asia/Australia container service to weekly in August by linking with Chinese carrier Yantai Marine.
CP Ships entered the trade in July 2004 with a fortnightly service marketed under the name Lykes Lines.
CP Ships and Yantai Marine will each contribute two 1,700-TEU ships to the revised operation. The port rotation will be Chiwan, Hong Kong, Ningbo, Shanghai, Sydney and Brisbane, with connections to CP Ships networks in Asia.
