CROWLEY AMERICAN TRANSPORT RENEWS PUERTO CABELLO CALLS
Crowley American Transport, part of the Hamburg S'd organization, will reinstate northbound calls at Puerto Cabello, Venezuela as part of its service calling the east coasts of the United States and South America.
The carrier said the port call is being added due to increased trade volumes.
“Puerto Cabello is the prime port serving Venezuela's industrial center in Valencia about 30 miles inland, and the major consumer markets in the capital city of Caracas,” said Wilson Rogue, CAT's vice president for Venezuela. The port is a primary load port for cargoes moving between Venezuela and North America and a major receiving port for shipments from Argentina and Brazil, the company said.
