CROWLEY LINER SERVICES ADDS 4TH JACKSONVILLE/SAN JUAN SAILING
Crowley Liner Services said it has add a fourth weekly sailing between Jacksonville, Fla. And San Juan, Puerto Rico.
The carrier, a subsidiary of Oakland, Calif.-based Crowley Maritime Corp., said the additional sailing is to prepare for the upcoming holiday season and additional shipments of new-model automobiles.
“Over the past several weeks, we have been running at, or near capacity out of Jacksonville,” said John Douglass, senior vice president and general manager.
Vessels depart Jacksonville every Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. The carrier also offers a fifth weekly southbound departure from Pennsauken, N.J., every Thursday.
Northbound, vessels depart San Juan every Monday, Wednesday, Thursday (two sailings) and Friday.
