Crowley Maritime acquires salvor Titan Maritime
Crowley Maritime Corp., a provider of transportation and logistics services, has agreed to buy Titan Maritime LLC, a marine salvage company.
Founded in 1980 by David Parrot, Titan Maritime is based in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. The company, which has offices in Newhaven, in the United Kingdom, and in Sao Paulo, Brazil, maintains equipment depots in Batam, Indonesia, and Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates. Titan has completed more than 200 salvage and wreck removal projects worldwide in the last 25 years.
The deal is expected to close within 30 days.
