CROWLEY MARITIME PROMOTES FORTUNATO TO VP
Crowley Maritime Corp. has promoted Ed Fortunato to vice president, government business development, with marketing, sales and budget responsibilities for the company's government business sector.
Fortunato, who will remain based in Washington, D.C., has been director of government services since 1997. Prior to joining Oakland, Calif.-based Crowley, worked for the Logistics Management Institute, advising the U.S. Defense secretary's office on transportation and logistics. A former U.S. Army colonel, he also served as first director for logistics for the U.S. Transportation Command, directing the air and sea deployment of logistics support for Operation Desert Storm.
