CROWLEY MARITIME PROMOTES TWO EXECUTIVES
Rick Swinton has been promoted to vice president, tax and audit, and John Calvin has been named vice president and controller for Crowley Maritime Corp.
Swinton was corporate controller. He joined Crowley 20 years ago and has also served assistant corporate controller, manager of financial reporting and manager of internal audit. He will be based at Crowley's Oakland headquarters.
Calvin was director of corporate finance. He joined Crowley 12 years ago and has also served in management positions with Crowley's liner subsidiary, Crowley Liner Services, including vice president, Caribbean islands services; and controller and director of management reporting and strategic planning. He will continue to be based in Jacksonville.
Swinton and Calvin report to Bill Pennella, who was recently named vice chairman and executive vice president of Crowley Maritime.
