CSX LINES ADDS ONLINE CARGO STATISTICS
CSX Lines, the U.S. domestic container shipping subsidiary of CSX Corp., has introduced Internet-based cargo information reports that can be customized by its shippers.
CSX Lines said that its “ShipStat” reports provide instant cargo information at multiple levels of detail. They provide customers with an instant summary of all CSX Lines-shipped containers and container information in real time.
Customers can view, sort, personalize and download six different ShipStat reports. These are: new bookings, en route to port of load, in port outbound containers, at sea containers, in port inbound containers, and en route to final destination.
Shippers can use the system to download the data into Excel and email the information to truckers, colleagues, suppliers and their own customers, CSX Lines said.
