CSX LINES APPOINTS VP, GENERAL COUNSEL
Robert S. Zuckerman has been named vice president, general counsel and secretary of CSX Lines, the domestic ocean container subsidiary of CSX Corp.
Zuckerman has been with Sea-Land Service, CSX Lines' predecessor company, since 1976, most recently serving as deputy general counsel for CSX Lines. Prior to joining Sea-Land, he served as assistant chief with the U.S. Department of Justice, Antitrust Division, where he worked on the President's Deregulation Task Force.
In his new position, he'll be chief legal officer of the company, responsible for legal, regulatory and corporate affairs. He will report to Charles G. Raymond, president and chief executive officer of CSX Lines, and to Mark G. Aron, executive vice president-law and public affairs, CSX Corp.
