CSX WORLD TERMINALS SELLS STAKE IN HMT
CSX World Terminals, LLC has sold its minority interest in Hamina Mulitmodal Terminals (HMT) in Hamina, Finland, to the Port of Hamina (POH). The sale was final on November 23, 2001.
“Our original commitment was to build a very customer-focused, efficient operation at HMT. We accomplished that goal and now are turning over the reigns to the Port of Hamina,” said Arno Dimmling, chief operating officer for CSX World Terminals.
CSX World Terminals LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of CSX Corp., is based in Charlotte, N.C.
