CSXT NAMES LEVY SENIOR VP
Howard Levy has been named senior vice president-supply and services management for CSX Transportation Inc. He succeeds John W. Basso who retired in September after 32 years with CSXT.
Levy joins CSXT from International Truck and Engine Corp., the operating company of Navistar International Transportation Corp., where he was vice president-purchasing and supplier development. He also spent 11 years with Ford Motor Co. in procurement.
CSXT, the Jacksonville, Fla.-based subsidiary of CSX Corp., operates a 23,000-mile rail network in 23 states, the District of Columbia and two Canadian provinces.
