DANZAS OFFERS TRANSATLANTIC CHARTER FLIGHTS
Swiss forwarder and Deutsche Post subsidiary Danzas said it will offer a
chartered freighter service between Germany and the U.S. at least through the year.
Danzas has chartered an A300 freighter, which flies from Haan, Germany, to
Charlotte, N.C., once a week. The forwarder started the service in September to offer
shippers extra freight capacity during the peak air freight season.
Danzas says the freighter flights have been operating at near full
capacity and that it is considering continuing the service into next year.
