Davies Turner offers direct services to Middle East, Persian Gulf
U.K. based forwarder and logistics company Davies Turner said that by opting for shipping services that sail direct from the United Kingdom and Ireland to the Persian Gulf region it has been able to eliminate up to 10 days from transit times.
Davies Turner said shipments to member nations of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), and connecting to Iraq and Iran, it has found an improvement over traditional transshipments.
'By offering shippers direct container services to each of the GCC states, including Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Saudi Arabia (including Jeddah) and the United Arab Emirates, we have reduced transit times from the U.K. significantly, sometimes by as much as 10 days,' said joint managing director Philip Stephenson.
