Delmas passes on ISPS costs in Italian ports
Shipping line Delmas said it will pass on to shippers, through surcharges, International Ship and Port Facility Security Code charges invoiced to shipping lines by the Italian ports of Genoa, Leghorn and Salerno.
Delmas, which provides liner services between ports in the Mediterranean and West Africa, said the surcharge will initially be 6 euros ($7.25) per container. The surcharge will increase to 8 euros ($9.66) Nov. 1.
