DELTA AIR LOGISTICS TO JOIN GF-X
Delta Air Logistics is preparing to join Global Freight Exchange (GF-X), the neutral trading platform, to provide services with its SkyTeam partner, Air France Cargo.
Delta will begin using GF-X to offer the SkyTeam Alliance products, as well as its U.S. domestic services, Dash and Priority First. Eventually, Delta will offer all its products via GF-X globally.
GF-X, established in November 1998, hosts a trading community in most large air-freight markets worldwide. GF-X maintains information such as schedules, capacity and rates, to allow carrier systems to complete transactions.
