DESCARTES ENHANCES OCEAN RATE BUILDER
The Descartes Systems Group has expanded its Ocean Rate Builder product to streamline the process of producing service contracts for containerized shipments.
The Ocean Rate Builder provides a centralized system from which all departments can revise, store and distribute service contracts, all from a Web-based front end. Hyundai Merchant Marine and Yang Ming Line began testing the contract management capabilities of the solution earlier this month, with an interest in using it to manage all of their North American ocean export cargo.
Based in Waterloo, Ontario, Descartes Systems Group is a provider of network-based collaborative logistics management software.
